It's Not Complicated Despite What Researchers Are Telling You

 Lately I've been thinking about how there are voices in the medical and journalistic fields who are doing a great disservice to people who suffer from Long Covid, ME/CFS. They are telling people they have a very complicated disease for which there is no cure, and that they will suffer forever. Except maybe they can somehow find a magical cure if they fund their research or journalistic work into this very complicated and very serious disease. I'm starting to call fowl. Perhaps because I've lost trust in the medical and research fields over the past few years. They seem to exist to only fund themselves at your expense.

Long Covid, CFS/ME are all reflective of a nervous system stuck in a PTSD state. In these cases, the mind ( you ) are not aware of any great stressors in your life, other than the stress of being severely debilitated. But your nervous system has suffered a traumatic injury in the form of Covid, a very aggressive virus, or in the case of CFS/ME also a virus or extreme phsycial or emotional stress. These are stress related states and that is a hill I am ready to die on. Theses states are not related to the virus itself. They are the aftermath of the virus.

So as I scroll through my X feed and find doctors talking about how absolutely complicated this issue is, and they are throwing up illustrations and telling you  that if you have Long Covid, your vasculature is compromised due to Covid, I feel such a deep sense of frustration because they are making something that absolutely presents as a complex multisystem disease state, way too complicated. Doctors, blood vessels constrict and are compromised just like every other system of the body, when the nervous system is in a state of fight/flight/freeze. All systems of the body are compromised, the body is running in a survival state....it's not complicated...at all.

It's a simple and plausible and very likely true explanation of what is going on with your body.

But like so many diseases today, the cause and cure are obfuscated...because...money....at your expense.
